Love to travel, but life on the road would just about kill me! So glad you crave it because I always enjoy when you come my way! Never heard of Nertz...something new to learn. :-)

Hope the rest of your travels go well. I will look for you on the morning shows and continue to enjoy your day of rest!

I've never heard of Nertz either...something to try out with friends on a night off. Can't wait to see you in Bloomington, IL...first concert of yours that I have been to. Hope to attend more; I've heard they are wonderful. Good luck and stay safe on the road!

Amy Grant on Fox And Friends that's great. In a couple weeks it's Christmas, my most favorite Christmas songs from you that you sing is Grown Up Christmas Wish and Sleigh Ride. You are the best Amy, you are my favorite female singer of all time!

That's Grown Up Christmas (List) not Wish, oh well, I'll make a (wish) and am keepin it secret until Christmas! Haha!

Enjoy and savor each and every moment! All too soon it will be back to the "normal" grind and it will be a fleeting memory!!

I absolutely adore "I Need a Silent Night"...Rings in my heart and soul all day long...AMEN!!!

Peace and Hugs and Love,

We saw you Sunday night at Foxwoods. It was the first time I'd seen your Christmas show, and it was wonderful. When you sang "Breath of Heaven" was (for me) the best moment of the show. I love the way this song makes me think.

My husband and I were thinking about how many times we've seen you in concert. About four or five times, the first being at the New York State Fair, back in the late 80's. And it was so cold that night, that you actually sang some Christmas songs, with the crowd accompanying by jangling our car keys as makeshift sleigh bells.

Good luck on the rest of the tour & I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas at the end!

Hey Amy, On the off chance that you ever read these posts, I just wanted to say, "Thank You!" for your continued dedication to your fans. It must be difficult not to see everything and everyone in your day as an obligation. From my perspective, you always manage to make people feel special. I know there is nothing I can say to make a difference since you don't know me. So, I will just send a sincere 'Thank you' for always managing to make me smile. With Much Appreciation.

Hi Amy!

Just checking in... It is so much fun to see what you guys are up to. Please say hello to everyone for me, and give Pat Coil a big hug for me. I have not seen him in years, and I think the world of him. (Actually.. he may not even remember me that well, so the hug might not be the greatest idea... ha) David Hamilton will be glad to hear that Pat is out on the road with you, too. I'll let him know when I see him in a couple of hours.

We are on the Smitty Christmas adventure! We are in Denver tonight and off to Portland, Oregon tomorrow. The shows are going great. We are all well and feeling blessed to be able to do this.

The best of luck with the rest of your shows, and have a wonderful, peaceful, restful Christmas.

Continued blessings, Skip

God Bless Marilyn

Hey Amy!

Saw you in concert for the first time in the early 80's in Indiana. It has been a joy to see how Abba is working in your life. God bless you with safe journeys and a soft pillow to rest your head when you are not singing or playing Nertz.

Amy--Just listened to your podcast "Count Your Blessings". You said you've never seen "White Christmas". You HAVE to watch it THIS Christmas. You'll LOVE it!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and make some hot chocolate. Tell everyone to leave you alone (except the ones you don't want to leave you alone :) and sit down with a blanket and WATCH it. You'll probably want to make another Christmas CD.

Dearest Amy,

I was so excited to find out that you were going to be on the Early Morning show that I recorded it. You looked absolutely beautiful as always. Looks like also you finally got your well deserved rest that you needed since you have barely had a break since your LMO tour. I can't wait till I get to come to one of your Christmas concerts. I am going to go to as many of your concerts whenever you are in the Dallas Fort Worth area. It seems like this is like you home away from home as this is where you did your very first Concert. I am also going to join your Fan Club and then I can meet you at one of your concerts and give you a huge hug. I want you to know you are my all time favorite singer out of all the singers that I like. I have been praying for your's and Vince's Tour and will continue to pray for y'alls (Texas talk for you alls) continued safety. Please be careful going through the snow and everything. Merry christmas. Love your #1 Fan Rashana Opal Buttolph

Hi Amy and Vince, too.
We were lucky enough to see your show Sunday night at MGM...Foxwoods...I held my breath the whole show waiting for "Breath of Heaven"...you didn't let us down! Such great voices...what a gift you share with us. You and Vince should do more duets...Your voices together are magic.
Looking forward to another tour. God bless.
Pam and Meri, Julie & Steve

Thanks to you, I was able to fulfill a lifetime dream of mine which was to be able to meet you, talk with you for a little bit and take my picture with you. The only other thing that could have made it any better would have been able to sing with you (even if it was at the sound check).

The concert was absolutely awesome! It was so nice to see a husband and wife team that really and truly love each other, and show it! Thank you again for sharing your God-given talent with the rest of us!!

I have tried to buy tickets to the Nashville Christmas concert with Vince. All the tickets have been bought up by ticket scalpers and are now selling for over $200 apiece for the worst seats in the house, over $300 for the ones which are decent. My mentally retarded daughter, who Amy has called backstage, has been a fan for years. Amy has even called her on the phone once, and written personal notes to her. Carol was looking forward to seeing this concert but I am on disability income. I can't afford $600 for seats to that concert. I don't know if there are any seats available for the Nashville concert, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could intervene to get us some tickets at a decent price. Carol can't handle balcony and steps very well as she has severe balance problems. Please help us. To place Carol, she has been a member of the fan club for a long time. She has a standup of Amy in her group home room and it has been there for about 10 to 12 years. Amy called her at the group home about 10 years ago and this was one of the highlights of Carol's life. Carol was invited backstage at the Athens Tennessee concert at the college there last fall. Her brother sat in front of Amy at a Vince Gill concert before they got married and Amy wrote her a note on Bryan's napkin. He framed it and gave it to her for Christmas and she has it on her dresser to this day. I am not looking forward to telling her we can't go because the tickets were all bought up the day they went on sale by scalpers and tickets are all too expensive for her to afford.

G'morning Amy!!

I'm glad you're having a good time on the road! It must be difficult but I hope you get your sleep while traveling. That is the most difficult part for me. Usually when I travel I'm too excited to sleep well. I wish I could see you this year for the Christmas show; however, I will see you on your next tour. Be safe on the road and you, Vince and your band are in my prayers.

Being on the road sounds fun the way you describe it. Thanks for taking the time to bring Christmas spirit to us all - and reminding us what this time of year is all about. Blessings!

Oh - I love Nertz too! But I haven't played it in years because hubby refuses to. He always wins and everyone gets mad at him. HA HA

Can't wait to see you tonight in Baltimore. Thank God it's warm or this rain would be snow. You really don't need to travel in that mess. Bringing 5 of my 6 kids. My prayers are with you on the road. Be safe.

Amy, Thank you for a wonderful experience at the West Point concert. My family and I have been listening to your holiday songs for years. "Breath of Heaven is my sons favorite song, and "Grown Up Christmas List" always makes me cry. Your songs always bring so many wonderful family memories to mind. God bless you and your family, and have a joyous holiday.

Kathy Kinter Phelps

Hi Amy,
Sorry to hear about the grueling schedule that tour life brings..sounds like you are somewhat accustomed to it. Brings new meaning to your song "I Need A Silent Night" I bet. This fan truly appreciates your going on the road this time of year and sacrificing your home life so that we may enjoy and be lifted through your Christmas music. My husband Nelson and my 10 year old daughter Haley will be in the audience tonight in Baltimore, MD. Too bad it's raining here today.. makes for yucky travel and frizzy hair :(
Thank you and Vince again for sharing the holiday season with your fans.
Merry Christmas, Kathy Phelps, Maryland

The show at MGM in Conn. was great. We've been to many of Amy's concerts and Christmas shows. We've even travelled to distant states! She never disappoints. So nice to see her with Vince. They look so relaxed and happy. Glad we were able to furnish them with a little snow when they arrived. Was there really an accident? Anyway, loved the show. Merry Christmas to all.

My wife and I have tickets for your show in Worcester, MA this Friday. My sister and her husband also have tickets. This is the first show of any kind that my sister Karen ever attended...hard to believe. Unfortunately she won't make it. She has been hospitialized with lung cancer. Please think about her and maybe say a little prayer. She is the best big sister ever!

Jackie Sue

You've been my favorite singer for the last 27+ years....and you play NERTZ!!! Wow! That's fun....let's meet for a game in Heaven...want to? :) Hope your tour continues to go well. God Bless you and yours.
