On our way to Augusta,Maine. We just finished the show in Manchester, NH and a great first show it was. We have yet to hit the snow that we expected but I am sure it will come soon.
It is always hard being away from family on Christmas tours but there is also something very cozy about riding a bus through the snow, especially when your bus is decorated for Christmas on the inside. Merry Christmas and we will see you soon.
Sorry for the lack of posts over the past few days. We have had a blast in the northwest. Three shows in Seattle, Portland, and Spokane.
Attached are three photos for your viewing pleasure. We all went out to eat at Saltys in Portland and played a club style show at the Bing Crosby theatre in Spokane.
We are now headed across the country and will see you in Minneapolis.
Talk to you soon.
I am sure most of you know that we have been off for a week. It has been great to be home in the great state of Tennessee. Fall is so beautiful here and I am always thankful when I get to spend a few days enjoying the scenic beauty of autumn. While we are all happy to be home, there is a sense of anticipation for the next run of shows. It has truly been a special time period to be a part of. Every night is a musical experience and if you have seen the show you know exactly what I am talking about. If you haven't seen the show then that should be enough for you to purchase your tickets and come out and see the show!

I took this picture in Portland yesterday as I walked out of catering at the venue. What a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do and the blessing it is to live in America. This is not a political blog but with the election a week away I encourage everyone to vote. Don't just vote but understand why you vote. We all want change in this and that and it starts with our voice. Use this Presidential election to jump start your politcal awareness on the local level. Most of us, including myself vote for the President but we miss most of the local elections. It all starts on the local level. The flag doesn't just fly in Washington but in every town in America.
This year I spent 3.5 months overseas in Eastern Europe. That 3.5 months impressed on me that we have blessings here that we take for granted. Thank God for our freedoms.
Don't get me wrong, I have loved California but it was time to go somewhere were fall was prevalent. As we drove through southern Oregon this morning. We were surrounded by so many amazing beauties. Every part of this world has it's own beauty to it. I thoroughly enjoy the Northwest because of images like these.
What a contrast between today and yesterday. Yesterday, in Nevada we were on the outer edges of the salt flats and today we are tucked in the mountains of the NW with the Pacific ocean only minutes away. God has made an amazing earth full of diversity and contrast. Enjoy what's around you.
